Sorry for reviving but I had the same issue. Fatal Error crash with no obvious cause that occurred especially on a bit older graphic card. Tried to solve it for several days and finally found out that having several Niagara systems caused it. Just sharing it with people to consider if they have a fatal error that no obvious cause. Performance tools or even crash reports did not help figuring it out.
