Hello, I recently updated my main project called “X” from 4.6.1 version to 4.7 and all it’s ok. However when I’m trying to migrate the updated data from “X” to another 4.7 “Y” project, the Editor always crashes when I’m trying to open some blueprints.
Steps:
1.- Update an advanced “X” UE4 project with code from 4.6.1 to 4.7 version.
2.- Migrate blueprints; Actors + UMG Widgets + PlayerControllers etc. from “X” to a new “Y” UE4 project 4.7.
3.- Open the “Y” Project and browse the migrated content.
4.- Try to open some Blueprints Flagged Is Data Only: False.
5.- Observe editor crashes.

I hipe the staff resolve this problem soon. Otherwise could be impossible to update/migrate/rehuse BP Uassets.
Thanks in advance.
Hey ganoncl,
I’m not able to reproduce this crash. I tried following your steps (with X being a Blueprint Twin Stick template and Y being a Blank project) but I’m not seeing any crashes, even when I open the blueprints. If the crash is only occurring with specific assets, could you send me one such asset?
Thanks for your reply , the crash couldn’t be easy to reproduce, because I’m using a large project with many (30 aprox) uassets dependences.
In my case the problem is general to all imported bluprints flagged as Is Data Only: False.
I’ll check a little bit more deeper into code.
Hi ganoncl,
Are you still experiencing this error? Does this occur in a blank project with no additional content? Thank you!
Hi , thanks for your assist, Now I’m using UE 4.7.2 For this reason I’m not able now to reproduce this bug again. Also I remember that I can’t reproduce the bug using a blank project.
Thanks.
