Crash on launching Unreal Engine 4.14.3 for the first time

Hello!
I am having a problem in launching. Every time I try to Launch Unreal Engine 4 version 4.14.3 It is saying that an Unreal Process has crashed. This did not used to happen before. Any helps would be great.

Is there a reason why you’re using a 3 year old version?

Sorry, I should’ve mentioned. I am using such a old version because even if I am try to using 4.16 I am Getting a problem saying “You must have a Metal compatible graphics card and be running Mac OS X 10.11.4 or later to launch this process.”
My Specs :
Macbook Air, Late 2110
Intel Core 2 Duo-1.86 Ghz
2GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 320M - 256MB
Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6

Metal compatible graphics card

Yup, makes sense. This was about when the UE still allowed to run below Shader Model 5.0 which your video card does not support.

As to why it crashes. For starters, you’re running a cutting edge software on very dated and unsupported hardware.

Why is it crashing now and not before: you recently updated video card driver (unlikely, since no new drivers are available, surely) or an OS change happened - an update was applied behind your back - a more likely scenario.

I seriously doubt there’s much you can do. There’s next to none technical support for current engine version crashes, getting something that outdated to work is rather unlikely.

I had upgraded my OS from Mac OS Yosemite which is a really old version. When I was using Yosemite, Unreal Engine 4.13 used to work fine. But After that I had to uninstall Unreal Engine when I upgraded my OS. Now I again installed Unreal Engine. And I am getting this thing.

Pretty self-explanatory as to why then. When it comes to solutions, there’s probably no official fix to something like this.
