[CRASH]Engine crash on compiling blueprint

Hi, just found a bug that causes a full engine crash when the following steps are followed. Please note I’m using 4.3.1.

Open or create a new blueprint > add variable > change variable type to string array > compile > add blank default values (i added 4) > change variable type to bool array > compile > Crash.

As I’m guessing, the engine obviously crashes as it doesn’t like the string default values in a bool array, but shouldn’t it clear the default values if the type is changed?

I am testing this in 4.4 and it is not crashing for me. Please let me know if it starts occurring for you if you upgrade to the 4.4 build. If you encounter any other unexpected behavior, please let us know.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I installed 4.4 and was going to test it but 4.4 crashes on saving (including autosave), mostly on some lightmap stuff. Will check 4.4 with a fresh project and come back with details.

Alright, after you test that please go ahead and attach a your log, DxDiag and crash callstack to this post. That will let me make a report for our developers.
