Hi there, I wanted to give UE5.4 a try to check the new motion graphics features. Sadly the editor crashes everytime while compiling the shaders.
I got a windows11 pc, i7-9700 with 32gb ram and a rtx4060ti with 16gb.

i updated to the newest drivers, tried game ready and studio version.

Hey there @dindello ! Welcome to the community! The nvwgf2umx error is a graphical driver/setup issue. You can refer to this thread where I compiled most of the fixes and workarounds I’m aware of!
Hey there @DSchultz2000 ! Welcome to the community! So the nvwgf2umx portion of this error refers to an Nvidia graphical dll. So more than likely it’s related to GPU settings or drivers. Most time’s I’ve run into this, the fix comes from a few possible angles.
Listed in order of most common to least common known fixes:
Defaulting your Nvidia 3D settings
Changing to Studio drivers instead of Game Ready drivers
Downgrading driver version (if a recent update broke compatibility)

woa, thank you seems resetting the global nvidia settings did the trick
