Cracks on the edges when using tessellation! Help please!

Hello everyone!

I am struggling to achieve a good realistic looking of my rock wall. I downloaded a few textures from poliigon and followed the video tutorial

Using Poliigon displacement textures in Unreal Engine 4 - YouTube on how to create the material with the tessellation. My problem is that when I apply it to my wall which is made out of 2 or 3 boxes of different sizes the edges of this boxes crack open really badly and it looks really bad.

Then I read that you need to tick Crack free on tessellation options to avoid this. So did that and what happened next is that the material dissapeared from the mesh.

No idea what to do now.

Any advise?

I don’t have a screenshot at the moment, but if you guys need screenshots to get more info about my issue please let me know.

thank you!

I am attaching images of my material and material instance. One is what it looks like when cracked, the other one what it looks like when I tick Crack Free Displacement. And after all the displacement doesnt really look realistic either.

Any help here please? thank you!
