Wanting to put together a build focused around UE5. Also I use Blender for modelling and Substance Painter. I’ve got my eye on an i9 9900k but considering AMD.
Any bench marks or suggestions? 
In this price range, the 5800x is a great (more modern, a wee bit more pricey) alternative. Benchmarks:
The thing about 9900k - it can be had for very little if you opt for a used unit since it’s been around longer, and Intel has been losing market in the recent years.

There are UE5 specific Drivers specifically for AMD by AMD.

Recently on another Halo Game, we were told that we should be loading new updates from 21st September 2021
There is a new AMD support that will update all drivers to the latest including UE5 drivers.
Well then, already taken care of.
