Cover system: AnimMontage or BlendSpace

Ok I’ve been working on a cover system and I kinda hit a snag.
I’ve been able to position my Character pawn near the wall via (ray)traces.
Now I dunno what I should do to make my character walk along the wall.
Use a blendspace or a animmontage.
Where would I trigger this montage - inside my Character BP ? AnimBP?
