In this course, you’ll learn the process of animating characters for virtual production in Unreal Engine from end to end—without the need to jump in and out of DCC applications.

It’s not for UE5.
I loved this tutorial, a great refresher on how animation works in the engine and getting to know a bit more on the Control Rig.
Thanks!
Thanks for your feedback! We always appreciate hearing when a course was beneficial!

If you’re just starting out in Unreal like me, coming from Maya, this tutorial makes little sense. I’m sure it makes a lot of sense, if you know stuff about Unreal already, but I don’t and this is the first video in the introduction, so I feel there’s a video or two that I’m missing. Partly there seem to be plugins that are not available and when I start a Control Rig Mannequin UE4 project and load Animation Starter Pack, Infinity Blade Warriors and MCO Mocap Basics it looks nothing like the tutorial, but the Military Style Mannequin plugin is not available anymore it seems. It’s unclear if I’m supposed to create a project from Control Rig Mannequin UE4 plugin, but it’s the only way to activate it. Also, once it’s open the Content Folder has different elements which leads to not being able to do as in the tutorial. This is frustrating! Don’t get me wrong, I think the video otherwise is nice and well done.
Hi there is a free project in the market place call animation for Virtual Production and if you down load that and create the project it has everything ready to go
It seems thos course is not for UE5. SOme things i this class is not applicable in UE5 or perhaps i am wrong, but if i am not it will be great to have an updated course for newbies who are using UE5.
