In this course, we will go over the process of how to retarget animations on bipedal characters with the IK Retargeting Toolset. IK Retargeting was introduced in Unreal Engine 5, where you can transfer animations between all different kinds of characters, no matter the size, proportions, or skeleton structure. This toolset has now been released on the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) where users can have the same capabilities for their unique experiences. Our goal is to go over what the best practices are for retargeting bipedal characters.
