Welcome to Week 3, the last week of the Unreal Fellowship: Animation! This week you’ll learn about: Constraint Systems and Attach Tracks, Cinecamera Tools and Techniques, Basic Lighting, and Post Processing and Rendering. Guest speakers Jérémie Passerin, Brittany Biggs, Raoul Cacciamani, and Fredrik Nilsson stop by the Fellowship to share about their work in animation.

how long will week 3 stay online? for week one i have the 28th(?) in my mind?
You are correct!
thank you for the response, but its the same date for “week3” ?
@CathyCheoIsaacs Thanks again for making these available. I took 43 pages of notes and learned a ton. It was great to get this information in such a concentrated, expert form. As a hobbyist, my learning up to now has been through Udemy, Youtube, and whatever random stuff I can glean from online forums.
In the final video, they talked about viewing a showcase of the videos the fellows created during their three weeks. Are those available online?
Thank you! This was a tremendous course and really quite wonderful.
@CathyCheoIsaacs doesnt’ make any sense to remove this. im still working through week 3 - i hope it stays around. only harms dev community by removing. there is crucial foundational knowledge in these videos… this kind of end-to-end workflow deep dive should be done for every aspect of unreal engine. doing this would go a long way towards addressing criticism about the lack of official documentation for unreal.
edit: knowledge should be free - not confined to the select few that were accepted into the program. there are tons of learnings in here that are not available anywhere else - for example the Constraint Systems, Attach Tracks and Space Switching in UE5 video. also, i have not seen a better explanation of retargeting, nor a better video regarding blending animations than Animation / Mocap Layering and Advanced Curve Editor.
having all of this information in one place instead of scrambling to find all the little bits and pieces scattered across youtube would be a huge boon for folks new to the community.
is this a conversation currently being had with you and the team?
Are they coming back on-line? I didn’t have a chance to finish. Can they be put on youtue?
really, its not right to remove these fellowship program tutorials.
Will there be an opportunity to see these courses again? I was working through them, they were very helpful, at my own pace and would like to continue to learn. Any plans on what happens to them?
Hi Cathy - is there a chance to have access to the tutorial videos of the fellowship? They were extremely helpful, I got sick for a week and now when I am trying to resume I cannot find them.
First Epic makes available the best course for the animation community for free, something that isn’t available anywhere else. This is a godsend. Then takes it down. This is so unfair! I am with everyone that tried and couldn’t get into the Unreal Fellowship (there wasn’t an offering in my country at all). PLEASE PUT IT BACK ON. There are thousands of people that could benefit from this. Epic is definitely to lose a lot of fans over this issue.
Hi, will there be any chance to watch the fellowship courses again or purchase them? They were extremely useful…
Has there been a response to the forum questions about the fellowship content being made available. I don’t understand why they have been removed. Such an invaluable resource to the community. Without the ability to save them there are a lot of people who cannot devote the amount of time required to benefit from these in such a short time.
Please rectify this short sighted situation or release them on the Unreal YouTube channel.
Please make the animation fellowship course available again (perhaps without a time limit)? I was just about to start watching and so many are denied this learning opportunity.
You mind sharing your notes!
