Does anyone know if it’s possible to get the exact amount of a certain color of pixel being rendered from a camera through blueprint? I know this is a bit off an odd thing to ask, but since Splatoon has been so successful, I’ve been thinking of how someone would recreate how the colors are added up at the end of the round and if it was possible in UE4.
Well the problem with that is that you’re then limited to a decal and you don’t get the versatility that you can have with a mesh. There’s a limited amount of stuff you can do with the camera. Perhaps that’s something that can be looked into in the future.
