I am confused as to which software I should be learning as a first timer.
I want to get my games on Android and IOS also. So i can make as much money as I can because I know my game is going to suck since I am a one man team and have to do everything myself
So want to get it on as many platforms as possible to maximize whatever tiny amount of money I might be making.
Just because you’re a one man team - Doesn’t mean you’ll make terrible games! Far from it; Especially in a community as dedicated to lending you a hand like this one! :>
^ Aah I see. I am from the Caribbean so there aren’t people or companies locally that develop games etc. Our economy down here just isn’t like that its more tourism and Oil & Natural gas. So I have been learning Blender 3D for a little while now aswell as Photoshop etc. But I have no idea how great everything would look you know, so didn’t want to get my hopes up too high.
Want to make a platformer shooting type game.
I would assume that its best I stick to UE4 right? especially since pretty much everything is free. I have not tried blueprints as yet, I am new to programming and have done C programming in school but those were like mathematics and physics problems like developing programs to do calculations.
Of course! I have some tutorials on my site (Which I linked in the post above) to get you started in Blueprints; When you see how easy it is to get your name made; You’ll be kicking yourself for even thinking of going elsewhere!
