Could not Find Skeleton for Anim

So im collaborating with some people on a project, and everytime I try to open one of their character animation sequences i get the error “Could not find the skeleton for Anim ‘AnimName’ Would you like to choose a new one?” Ive never seen this error before. I can make unreal retarget the animation the the skeleton, which is really annoying since it seems i have to individually do this for each sequence. But the bigger issue is when i try to open the animation blueprint it tells me its corrupt. Is there some particular way im supposed to import these characters into my game?
