Cosmetic tick?

im following the Unreal Engine 4 tutorial videos on UMG inventory and in part 5 when scripting the “Pickup Text” he adds an event tick and an event construct, i do the same but unlike his, mine shows the little computer moniter in the corner signifying its its cosmetic. why does mine show it and his doesnt?

He was probably using an older version.

If something is marked cosmetic it should not contain gameplay essential code. This is used for all UI related stuff.
