when starting UNREAL this message appears Corrupt data found, please verify your installation

You’ll need to verify your engine version. To do this go into the Epic Games Launcher. Go into the Library tab, and click the verify option as shown in the image below (you have to click the arrow next to the Launch button to get that menu to appear).
