Hypothetically if I wanted to make a map in UEFN that had copyrighted characters or places in it but they are already in Fortnite (Resident Evil, Dragon Ball, AOT, Marvel, etc.) would that be allowed compared to full on copyrighted IP’s that Epic doesn’t have access to that is against the guidelines?
I can’t fully speak for Epic about this, but it depends on their license with the IP holders. So basically, if you want to use their assets to design your own map you should likely be fine. The issue that can arise could be that Epic only has a license with say Iron Man for their particular level or map or in a specific use-case.
