cooking and packaging


I’m a complete noob when it comes to getting my game out of unreal and packaged.

I’m having a bit of a problem. I’ve set up a blueprint in the level blueprint which had an event beginplay connecgted to a F Play, whose target is a media player in my scene. The intention is for the media player to be fired up when play begins so that the media textures will start immediately.

It seems to work in the editor, but in the packaged game it doesnt appear to fire.

So…my question is. What are the steps I need to take to ensure that my blueprint is correctly packaged and fired in the packaged game?

Should I be cooking? (I dont really know what this is for)…it will be packaged for windows 64 by the way.



the moviie file is in the correct Movies directory by the way.
