Hi, we successfully built the project (a detailed model of the castle with approximately 1000 photos and 150*100 m). Now we have tried to align the other project (1700 photos and 2*3 km, it is the 2.5D model from UAV) and we have the problem with GCPs and their errors (it was alright in PhotoScan). We made the computation with setup the coordinate system of gcp and projected coordinate system like local and also S-JTSK East North, screens of results are attached (coordinates of gcps were shot with rtk gps). Except the errors the entire model seems very convex instead of the straighter surface.

Hi Bohumil
can make come screens so can see the image point detected on images ?
say 1+2+2+2 layout and put images in the 2D views and enable, like this one

Hi Jana + Bohumil
Are you from same company ? so know who to mention
try change ALIGNMENT setting to this settings
then delete ALL components there and use ALIGNMENT again
Hi,
thanks for answer. Yes we are from same company (G4D Ltd.).
Unforunetly it did’t help. It looks quite same.
Hi Bohumil
delete again all components
Select all cams and click on the +Images and then set CONSTANT CALIBRATION
And ALIGN
Hi, we tried to change alignment settings according to your printscreen, it wasn’t successful (Bohumil wrote it yesterday).
Your last advice about the CONSTANT CALIBRATION has already been set there (it isn’t possible to change it, isn’t it?).
We tried also to set the “image down scale factor” to value 2 and weight of gcps up to value 100.
Further we tried also to set the lens distortion like unknown (not approximate). We attempted to compute all previously mentioned options .
Is it possible that there could be some problem with Exif data of the images? There is displayed an exclamation mark next to each image.
It seems that the alignment computation completely doesn’t want to correspond with GCPs.
Hi Jana
Its possible to send the dataset to milos.lukac@capturingreality.com so we can take a look on it here and say what can be done ?
Was there a solution to this problem in the end?
I have similar results but suspect this is due to my lens distortion settings.
Hi Stuart
can send me few images (10-20 ) so can take a look and say how to solve it ?
Hi All
So have played a bit to find a easy solution - workflow for you when this issue occur. Will be ready for publication in next 48 hours.
