ConvertMouseLocationToWorldSpace Lag in Build

ConvertMouseLocationToWorldSpace works well in PIE, very minimal, if any lag.

However, when making a build (shipping or development tested), the actor being moved lags significantly behind the mouse.

This is the simple function used. Video is from a blank project with only a character set up, and this function running on the character’s tick (default tick group).

Ideally, I would like the object to follow the mouse as closely as possible. The stark difference between editor and build functionality makes me think this is either a bug or something very obvious I’m missing. Any suggestions?

Looks like software cursor problem to me. Try switching to hardware in project settings.
