Converting Streamed Cesium Terrain to Editable Landscape in Unreal Engine 5.4

Hi,

Hope you are all having a fantastic day.

I am currently working on a project where I am using Cesium for Unreal to stream detailed terrain data into Unreal Engine 5, specifically for the Morpeth, Northumberland area. The streaming aspect works beautifully, allowing me to view highly detailed and accurate terrain within the engine. However, I am facing a significant challenge:

I need to convert this dynamically streamed Cesium terrain into a static, editable landscape. The goal is to use Unreal Engine’s powerful sculpting, painting, etc tools to modify and enhance the terrain for my project.

Does anyone know a good way to do this?

Thanks,
Richard
