just a quick question: Is it possible to convert an existing material into a material function? Or to connect a material to a function, so that it basically copies the materials (or material instances) values.
Background is, Datasmith imports all my models from Cinema 4D pretty well, however, it has problems, when it comes to alphas and materials, that lays on top of each other. However Unreals layered materials work excellent in that regard and can be used to simulate this Cinema 4D feature perfectly, buuut, they are experimental, and demand material functions, instead of normal materials
