I have a mixamo character that I have converted to the Unreal format with root bone etc, and rigged using the modular rig. It works fine, and I can animate it manually, and assign mixamo animations to it, but I want to convert it to ‘Layered’ so I can do a combination of both in the sequencer.
However, if I use the ‘Convert to layered’ function in the menu, my keyframes disappear. I tried copying my keyframes and pasting them back in, but that didn’t work (Character was all animated but all messed up)
In fact, I’d be happy with just being able to set the end of my manual animation, so that further along the timeline the mixamo animation isn’t overidden.
I could work around this with two copies of my character, but I want to know if there’s a way of doing it without hacks.
