Hi all, is it possible to convert a geometry collection into a static mesh? I want to simulate some destruction and save out the result as a new static mesh. Is this possible? All help appreciated!

Absolutely! Provided I understand the question here, you should be able to save the result by highlighting all of the pieces and selecting “convert to static mesh” in the details window!
Thanks for the reply! The convert actor drop down is grayed out in the details panel… It doesnt seem to like Geometry Collections :s
The option (“Actor > Convert To Static Mesh”) now only works for Static Meshes in the viewport. This worked in UE4, something needs to be done about this.
