I am trying to make terrain pieces as realistic as possible however, when I use the measurements that I get and put them in unreal the conversion rate for feet does not seem to work out . Is there a way of changing the units in unreal and where can I find it any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
Units are always metric - one UE unit = 1cm.
There is a table about half way down this page with some conversions to imperial:

In Unreal Engine, you can adjust the units of measurement to match your requirements. By default, Unreal Engine uses centimeters as its unit of measurement, but you can change this to meters, feet, or any other unit of your choice. Here’s how you can change the units in Unreal Engine:
- Editor Preferences:
- Open Unreal Engine and go to the “Edit” menu at the top.
- Select “Editor Preferences” from the dropdown menu.
- In the Editor Preferences window, navigate to the “System” section on the left sidebar.
- Under the “Content Editors” category, you’ll find “Viewport” settings.
- Look for the “Viewport Units” dropdown menu. Here, you can choose the unit of measurement you prefer, such as centimeters
