controlling time of day with slider in blueprints

I have a slider which controls the time of day of a Sun Moon Day Sequence Actor. This works as expected in the editor, but when i package the game for windows, the sky and lights are not updating. I am printing out the time of day, so i can see that is changing. What is needed to make the Sun Moon Day Sequence Actor change via blueprints in a packaged game?
