Control rotation help. Preview works fine but in-game doesn't?

The spine bones are supposed to rotate according to the player’s control rotation, as seen below.

And this works fine when I preview it, in the Anim Preview Editor.

However, in game it doesn’t look like in the preview. Instead it looks like this:


This is me looking down in game. It seems like the legs rotate as well, and I do not want this.
