Control Rig Not Visible in Scene [UE 5.1.1]

I’m following this video tutorial on using control rigs in UE5.

At 51:50 he drags the control rig into the scene from the content browser and it appears in the level. However, when I do the same, the control rig and its mesh are invisible. All I can see is the transform tool when I have it selected. If I drag the skeletal mesh into the scene, it shows up correctly.

If I open the control rig directly, the mesh appears fine and I can see and use all the controls as expected.

Can anyone explain what I’m doing wrong?

I don’t know if this is directly related or not, but the thumbnail for my control rig in the content browser shows the mesh offset from the controls along the Z-axis, but that is not reflected in the viewport when I open the asset.

I’d be really grateful for any guidance, as this is really holding up my project!

Oh. Well, now I feel silly. I just found the problem. Somehow I managed to set the Min and Max scale values on my root_ctrl to 0. So… nevermind.
