Control Rig IK for Neck and tail PROBLEM

hello i have a problem in control rig. i want to create a kind of ik for the dragon neck. unfortunately it doesn’t work as i wanted. I have explained everything in the video thanks for your help :).

And if you know even better ways to create an “ik” for the neck or tail thats welcome:)

Hey :slight_smile: i saw the video multiple times he only shows it roughly and doesn’t really go into detail and the dragon model is not so “extensive”… as a “newcomer”, unfortunately you can’t figure it out at all :frowning:

Hello, I dont know if you ever figured it out, but I ran into the same problem and figured a solution.

The control position and rotation must be at 0 0 0, and the shape has to be moved where you want it to be, because if its not 0 0 0 the distribute rotation is applying thecurrent coordinates of the control, meaning that it will have insane values for just a rotation

you need to use local space instead of global in the controler rotating the chain
