Control Rig, disable nodes and troubleshooting

Wondering if there is a way to disable nodes from the control rig without re-routiing the execute chain? Sorry if I’m not using the correct words.

Trying to determine if a method is already established or if there is a better way to go about approaching this.

For example, if an operation is causing the joint chain to jump, it would be nice to see if adjustments solve the problem with a quick toggle of some ‘enabled’ property.

Could also be usefull to leave the execute chain as is and simply comment sections out without unllinking and relinking to the next execute in the chain.
