Hello, i am using an Aim Offset for a flashlight that blends by bool. On idle which is the additive animation it works perfectly, however that idle is part of a movement Blend Space and when i start moving around the hand holding the flashlight, while keeping the correct position moves up and down like crazy, which is to be expected. I would like to know if it’s possible to limit just the left hand from it’s full range of motion when the Walk/Run animation is playing if the flashlight is equipped. Since i am blending the poses by bool and not per bone i couldn’t find a setting to have it affect only the left arm. Any insight would be great, thanks.
Hey @iDivider! You can just add another blend for the arm, and make that one by bone, starting at the shoulder, and just have it activated by boolean of your flashlight. But no, a simple blend poses by bool isn’t going to work for that, I’m sorry to say
If i understand correctly, i am gonna do a blend by bone after my initial blend by bool to have that only affect the clavicle for example? I can’t test right now, thanks for the reply!
Exactly! Just make the weights really strong, at least .8 starting at the clavicle or maybe the shoulder.
