Description:
Dreadlands is an MMO set in a dystopian world thousands of years after a cataclysmic nuclear war. With a focus on character development, visceral directional combat, dynamic environments and a thriving world - Dreadlands sets out to re-invigorate the stagnating MMO genre.
Darktale Games is a small team from New Zealand. We are currently looking for talented people to jump on-board and help us work on our prototype. Key features for the prototype we hope to develop can be seen below and are just a slice of the systems / concepts we hope to implement latterly.

Technical Director / UE4 C++ Programmer [ROYALTY OPTION]

Ideally looking for a technical director (but can just be a more casual role) to handle all tech for game design tasks and thinking up unique ways of approaching the complexities of an MMO.

High level of experience in C++ and UE4 (preferably released title/s)

Thorough understanding of client / server processes.

SpatialOS experience a great bonus.

Help us to navigate through task maps and prioritize correctly towards a working prototype that exemplifies core game play goal elements.
3D Character Modeler / Sculptor / Texture [CONTRACT}

Understanding of high poly - low poly work flows, delivering high quality game ready assets.

Able to utilize base meshes, maintaining UVs between characters and adding features as necessary separately.

Understanding of texture workflows such as Substance.

Industry experience a bonus.
3D Environment & Props Modeler / Sculptor / Texture [CONTRACT}
