Seeking a technically oriented animator to work on the main character and enemies in the demo for our sandbox survival project.
- Assemble animation blueprints for characters, using commercially available anims
- Refine and customize commercially available anims to fit the needs of the project
- Integrate animation-adjacent systems to create a dynamic feeling character
- Recommend resources, pipelines, processes, and tech improvements for the project
- Experience working professionally with Unreal’s animation systems
- Comfortable working with commercially available animations
- Experience with Ascent Combat Framework a plus but not required
- Working knowledge of new UE5 animation systems also a major plus
Time commitment is flexible, with an estimate of about two months work in total. The position is fully remote, but we want to collaborate actively and treat you as a member of the team, so some overlap with European time zone would be ideal.
We’re happy to work both with either a dedicated freelancer or someone interested in a permanent position once we’ve raised additional capital.
