Lets say my character is in a looping animation montage. This state can be interrupted by another montage like an hit animation. So i have to pause and continue the last animation. No problem.
My challenge is to continue the last animation montage at the same section (loop section).
I have two solutions, but non of them force the character to switch instantly to the last montage pose , so that he doesn’t play the montage from the first section.
- call Montage Pause -> Save last montage -> play new montage -> call Montage Play with last montage
- call Montage Pause (not necessary) -> play new montage -> call Montage Play with last montage -> call Montage Jump to Section
