There is something wrong with the Unreal Engine. I can’t see any text from context menus and drop-down menus. They just show as an image of the UE program.
This is what happened when I click File
This is how I right-click

Nvidia card? Drivers up to date? What’s the GPU?
RTX 4090 D
My driver is 566.36 and the latest is 572.16
I am having very low fps in the latest version so I rolled back to the second latest version
Rare on my continent.
RTX 4090 […] very low fps
Try a studio driver:
I installed 572.16 Studio driver. The problem gets even more severe. The screen flickers with red horizontal stripes.
I also took a video to show the problem. You can find it at

Is UE the only application that you’ve seen misbehave?
for now yes
What are the chances you’re running additional overlay software that may interfere? Hardware monitors, rivatuner, perhaps you’ve got rainmeter or wallpaper engine?
Just in case, are you on Windows 10 / 11 or a more esoteric OS?
It’s Windows 11 Pro
I personally prefer a clean desktop so I’m not running Wallpaper Engine or other overlay softwares. I haven’t even heard of those names except Wallpaper Engine.
Did you ever have another GPU in this system? I am hinting at trying DDU. You could also try Beta drivers to see if it changes anything.
I have only one GPU. There is no beta drivers currently. I tried the latest and one version back, both Game Ready and Studio. The latest results in red screens. With one version back there are no red screens. The context menus are the same for both versions. Game Ready and Studio versions don’t have any noticeable differences.
That was not the question. Did you have another GPU in this system before, and cleaned drivers after swapping to the new one?
Have you ever stress tested this GPU?
If I were in your shoes I’d DDU - Display Driver Uninstaller.
Actually there was a 2070 or something earlier. l tried a clean installation and UE is back to normal. Thank you so much!
