[CONTEST]Gamemaking contest with great documentation!

Now things went free so now is good time have little contest for everyone who wants to join. There is quite lot of tutorials on internet and complete projects, some cost and some not. But what I’m hoping from this is that everyone on here and elsewhere would join in this contest.

Idea is to create small game what is well documented. Tutorial or project where is documentation or some way how new people users can get hang of UE4, even little help and tricks included in your project is big help to new users.

Let’s make some rules for this (no one likes rules but they are good so you can learn also).

  • Make something new.
  • Put every little trick you know in project and tell how they work (so other ppl understand them too).
  • If you release whole project files use github, bitbucket or put your own website! But it need to be avaiable to everyone!
  • You can make shooter game or even RPG there is no limit what kinda game you do!
  • If you dont want to do solo this, do with friends! Or take someone from community to do it with them!
  • You don’t need to finish whole project if you dont feel so (example: create turn based rpg combat mechanics well and document it well! Or create spaceshooter mechanics, its limitless what to do!).
  • Most important thing is you learn different things about unreal engine 4 (and thats why create something new what you dont have ever before done) and new users can get good start.
  • You wanna use C++? Sure. You wanna use Blueprints? Why not?!

Most important things are good documentation / comments and have fun!

I am going to move this to General … as I think it belongs there instead.

Don’t want to be a meanie but I doubt people will be interested in making a game for a random forum thread, to be honest.
That’s a lot of work for no(?) gain. People are regularly making things and documenting/releasing them to the community already.
