I’m trying to have everything in one single package. Whenever I create a new material or a new terrain setup layer UDK auto places it in a package that I have saved as the actual map file .udk… UDK created a package automatically with the same name of my .udk level save. I only want one single package though. Another problem I am having is that whenever I try to add a material to a static mesh it won’t load. I press the use selected material button and nothing happens. I then copy the name and paste it in the editor but it disappears. I’m a total noob and I’m still trying to understand the correct way to organize these files as well. thanks for reading and any help would be appreciated.
