Content browser doesn't have a column on the left, with a larger space to the right of it like the default view. How can I fix this?

Hello everyone,
by default, the content browser should have a column on the left side showing your folders, but when you open a folder - its contents will be displayed on a larger space on the right side.
However, for me there is no column on the left side, the whole content browser is one space. I have attached a screenshot of this. How can I fix this and get that column on the left side back?
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you!

nevermind, I found it. For anyone else having this problem, you have to click on the small icon to the left of the filter and search bar of the content browser.
