Although content browser doesn’t supply a duplicate menu option in context menu for map assets. You can still duplicate map with ctrl+w.
I would say duplicate option is missing rather than ctrl+w should be disabled.

Thanks for report! I don’t see option in right-click menu in 4.7.6 for default maps, though I do for maps I created, but it appears to be there in 4.8 Preview as well as our internal build for all maps. Give this a try in Preview in a new project and let us know if it’s still a problem for you there. Thanks!
What seems to happen is that menu option is unavailable for map you currently have open but you can still hit ctrl+w.

developers disabled duplicate option for worlds to eliminate possibility of various crash problems until a full fix for duplication in content browsers can be created (UE-22200). For now, if you’d like to duplicate a map, best option is to use File > Save As and save map as another. This should skirt any of duplication issues for moment.
