Construction Script Needs to be Compiled in 5.4?

I have a spline blueprint actor i’ve been using for fences. All its functionality is in the construction script, and it’s worked perfectly in 5.3.

Now that I’ve updated, I can still manipulate the spline points but the mesh doesn’t update unless I compile the blueprint, and I have to compile it each time I make a change.

Is there a setting in the editor I can change to get this working ? Is it my blueprint?
