Consolidate: clean up all sub folder clutter?

When Migrating content from one project to another, it brings along the root and sub folders for each project it was created in. Say, If I migrate 10 items of content from 10 different projects into ProjectA, ProjectA will now contain 10 additional root and sub folders. ie: 10 materials folders

Is there a way to clean up and consolidate all of this into one root, and their respected sub folders? ie: all the materials in 1 materials folder.

My very same problem. The more I try to search about it, the more I get astonished to see that it seems that there is no way around this! All those folders spread out… I really wish to have a Collect/consolidate all files to ONE folder on migration. Please!
