console source code unreal for xbox one

Hej …

I just found an i-os and android dev folder in the forum so I am writing my question here -hope its ok.

My problem: I am looking for a way to test my unreal designed game on xbox one.

So I have filled out the UE4 Console Access Request form.
(UNREAL dev need a confirmation of your developer status from id(at)xbox.com)
I also have read the files at UWP on Xbox One - UWP applications | Microsoft Docs
and I´ve got a member account of WindowsDevCenter and I am in the WindowsInsiderProgram

My question: Do I have really install visual basic on a windows10 pc?
What is the way to test the app on xbox one?

I thought the short way would be to design my app in UNREAL and export it to XBOX
like I did it with my former android apps …

Sorry for the beginner question and my poor english.

Best, Stephan

You have to be accepted into the Xbox developer program, if you don’t have a real project your working on then you won’t get accepted, it’s not for people to just mess with they are looking for serious developers.

Only way for hobbyists to test their games with their own console is to build the game as UWP project which UE4 does not support. For everything else you need credibility like said above.
