overall - i need to connect a mesh to a sceleton mesh’s surface(not to a bone socket)
Hi all, im newbee in UE4, tried to make some animation for my game asset. I have a mesh with rig and have fbx. animations for it. I made a sceletal mesh, upoaded animations for it- all is good. Now i decide to add another mesh to my charackter - i know that i can import new mesh i want and put it into SOCKET on bone… but what should i do if i watn to attach a new mesh not to bone - but to surface of my charackter - for example another armour plate to chest - there is 3 bones on my chest and my mesh already rigged… Can i just “attach” nes mesh to my current - tries via physics constraint - but itsl only works with “physic simulation” for my new mesh - and new mesh fall dawn to ground etc… all i need overal: i have a sceleton mesh with animations, need to attach ne simple imported mes to any part of my sceleton mesh surface (not to skleleton bone) - exactly to sceletal mesh surface.
