I really need to connect my island to outside world using http requests or in any other possible way. Is there any way to connect my island to any external resources or it’s completely cut off? I want to play a YouTube video inside my island and use chat GPT to create NPCs that will talk to player.

Those both sound reasonable, currently there are restrictions.
Looking at it through the lens of ‘UEFN exists within Fortnite on consoles which is rated T for Teen’ - Governing Bodies / Ratings Boards would take issue with the possibility of showing a Youtube video with M rated content, or the potential for a chat-bot to say anything. (although it seems there are some pretty robust ‘safety rails’ currently.)
I think the thing that’s closest on the horizon is being able to upload + show your own videos directly.
So there is no way to use Chat GPT for dialogue generation right now? That’s bad. I really need this to implement what I want. Okay. If it’s not possible. Then I’ll do with pre defined dialogue. Thanks.
