Confuse on how ragdoll, physics asset, physics capsules work?

Using unreal 5

Like I look at the PA_Mannequin of manny and he has overlapping physic capsule and when I press simulate for ragdoll it works normally.

But when I import a new skeleton with overlapping phsycis capsule and pressing simulate, it starts glitching out and moving into space?

the template physics asset that unreal provided is well-adjusted with limited rotation.
The engine might automatically create an physics asset for your newly imported mesh,but it might not so precise.and need to be manually adjusted.

So I just go in and mess around the with limiting and locking angles?

Is this a quick and dirty effective method to just free rotation all joints to prevent it glitching out?

honestly I’m not familiar with the physics asset editor.
so I can’t point you to an exact option to adjust.

you could compare the new physics asset with the default one.
try to copy its parameters,etc…
