Concern Regarding Review Transparency and Feedback

I must share a concern about how the review process for content publishing is handled (especially educational content). Over the past weeks, I looked at a bunch of submissions, including mine and others’, and I am quite disappointed that many get rejected or just disappear into silence without any clear or helpful feedback. I’ve tried reaching out in a couple of ways: through posts and direct messages. We haven’t received any response or clarification from the staff. This lack of communication makes things uncertain and can be really discouraging for people who genuinely want to contribute to the community. As educators and creators, we put a lot of time and effort into making helpful, free content. We don’t do it for recognition, but simply to support others. Not getting any kind of feedback or review notes makes it hard to know what to improve or how to meet Epic’s expectations. We do not even get to the community feedback. On other platforms the content is very well received by the community. Here, it seems, it is only the interface between creators and educators and community being the blocker.

Educational content should not feel like a lottery system. A meaningful review process should come with clarity and individual feedback, otherwise, it’s simply a black box. It’s disheartening to see some content approved that seemingly violates guidelines, while other submissions with similar structure and intent are rejected without explanation.

This is not about one case or one person, I think this a systemic issue that affects many contributors. These types of reviews are found in many organizations and in all of them they are more damaging than helping. We understand that quality will never be perfect, but improvement is only possible when there is a feedback loop. If the goal is to foster a strong learning community, then constructive, respectful communication is important.

I sincerely hope the team can revisit how reviews are handled, especially when it comes to educational material. Even a short note can make a world of difference.

I’m also hopeful this can be resolved in a way that strengthens the community and removes the uncertainty around the review process. This isn’t meant to be a permanent callout, but rather a sincere request for improvement. If addressed, I’d be glad to acknowledge the positive outcome.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

Update: My tutorial was just accepted—thank you!
I want to express my sincere appreciation to the team for reviewing once more and approving the content.
I’m genuinely happy to see progress and hopeful this is a step forward in improving. Continuing my part to support the community with free, high-quality learning resources. Thanks again!
