Compute lightmap resolution using EditorUtilityWidget fails sometimes

Imported multiple objects from SketchUp using Datasmith. When running a EditorUtilityWidget with function ComputeLightmapResolution (ideal ratio) for some objects this fails and it sets the lightmap resolution to 4.
The same behavior happens sometimes with imported objects in the fbx file format.

Any suggestions what could cause this? In the same Datasmith file, some objects get the ideal resolution and some dont. No errors in the output log
