Composure Media plate shadow?

Composure media plate can’t cast shadow
the media plate is a green screen video source.
anyone know the solution?

If you have a media plate with an alpha channel, such as an EXR image sequence, that can cast a shadow. Haven’t tried pulling a key and casting.

Just a thought if you have set the material blending mode to masked?

Unfortunately, there’s no shadow with masked material blend mode.

Has anyone figured this out? There seems to be very little information on this for 5.2 onwards.

There is no way to get 3D shadows and reflections for video input in UE(composure ),Because Composure is just composite video input and ue camera.
another solution is use thirdpart engine,like Aximmetry ,zd,pixtope,but the thirdpart engine don’t have a very good solution for this ,you need a device(depth cam,like zed2i)to get people position,and match with the camera track space.

The zed2i depth camera plugin is a c++ project,Aximmetry doesn’t support c++ project ,so you need build your own plugin.

this is I use zed2i camera in Aximmetry,3D shadow can follow myself.

there are some business solutions ,but is very expensive,the cheapest way is use chromakey ,key out the shadows,and the reflections ,use a aacrylic on the floor.
