Compositing Motion Blur in Scenes with Chroma-keyed actor?

Hi,

I’m wondering what the best workflow would be when compsiting a scene with filmed footage.

Would it be best to shoot at higher shutter speeds for the cleanest keying and let Unreal or Nuke handle the motion blur of the keyed actor?

Does Unreal even add motion blur when compositing footage like this?

Thank you!

You’re talkign about shooting high shutter speed (i.e. low motion blur) and having Unreal or nuke add motion blue?
Unreal doesn’t do any real processing of video footage unless you try a post-process or LUT.
Nuke and other tools can manipulate moving images but you’d be better off shooting normal and adjusting the keying accordingly rather than have it try to synthesize the motion blur.

Yes sir, thats exactly what I meant. I could have explained it better. I appreciate your advice and will begin filming with that in mind.

Thank you!
