I’ve been trying to group actors, components and blueprints together to organize my project and could do with some help.
I am making an interactive cockpit for a flight sime with lots of switches and buttons. My latest attempt was to make each panel of controls an actor, and attach them to a body mesh, which has physics enabled. Unfortunately the body seems to collide with its actors and it flies off as soon as the game starts.
I can make a single actor and put everything in it, but with hundreds of switches and gauges its very difficult to work with.
Any tips, advice or links to info on structuring compound actors with sub actors, or other heirarchal organization would be very welcome.
